Kid, you'll move mountains.

5/15/2017 0 Comments Bugs, Flowers and RemindersThank you so much for a wonderful appreciation last week! Kim and I are sincerely grateful for the shower of flowers, sweet notes, snacks and a great lunch. We both agree that we should be the ones thanking you for sharing a piece of your world with us. At this time of the year, I feel overcome with emotion knowing that these sweet kids are ready to move on to first grade. I'll make them promise to come visit with all those hugs next year! We have had so much fun exploring our class "pets" for the last few weeks. Our praying mantis egg exploded with hundreds of baby mantises. Our caterpillars emerged as butterflies and flew away. The ladybugs transformed from larva, to pupa, to a cute little bug. Hopefully you will see our bugs in the "Kinder-gardens" We will be planting fruits and vegetables in the gardens this week. If you are at the park this summer, feel free to pick ripe produce, weed, or thin out the plants. We do our best to maintain them over the break, but it takes a village! Please keep an eye on your folders between now and the end of the year. I will try to send reminders about everything. I know that it is hard to keep up on all the end of the year events. Please email me with any questions!
