Kid, you'll move mountains.

8/24/2014 0 Comments Getting Started...You made it through the exciting and scary first days of Kindergarten! Congratulations! All the kids did a great job and were a delight to have in class. I can't wait to get to know them all a little better. We will continue learning about routines and our school this week by exploring the theme of dinosaurs. ROAR stands for Respectful, Organized, Attentive, and Responsible; students will learn how a Zach Zephyrosaurus can show ROAR everyday to earn dino stars, golden tickets and jewels for our class jar. A few reminders about kindergarten logistics: The green take-home folder needs to come to school every day. Please pack snacks outside of lunchboxes (unless the lunchbox only has a snack and no lunch). Lunches are sent down to the cafeteria in the morning, and the kids can not get them to retrieve snacks at snack time. All snacks must be peanut/tree nut free. I will send home a list of snack ideas this week. Call the room (488-5130) if there are any last minute pick-up changes. I am not able to check my email after lunch. Text (970) 279-0212 with the message @b6b26 to receive a text message when I want to send important reminders.
