8/30/2015 2 Comments ROAR!!!! At Zach Elementary, "ROAR" is more than than an angry Dinosaur! We have spent our first week getting to know our new friends and school. Part of that is learning how to act and treat each other, manage the routines of the day, and have fun. I love that our class is already showing that they can be Respectful, Organized, Attentive, and Responsible! Lots of dino stars, golden tickets, and jewels in the jar! We will continue character development next week and begin to explore dinosaurs!
Remember to look in the take-home folder each evening, and send it back to school everyday. If you have any notes or paperwork for me, please send them in the folder. We will check those every day. Thank you for sending healthy, nut free snacks everyday. We have been talking about how to keep our bodies healthy by eating well, washing hands, and drinking lots of water. Feel free to send a full water bottle to school! The first few weeks are a great time to try hot lunch. There are lots of adults in the lunch room helping. Friday, pizza day, is always a big hit! Please contact me with any questions or concerns. It is easier to address any questions

8/1/2015 0 Comments When can we start? Are you as excited as I am to start this wonderful year of Kindergarten? We are going to have so much fun learning together. This dark, blank, clean classroom will be bright and organized very soon! I'm hard at work preparing for your child. If you have any questions this summer, please do not hesitate to email me. I would rather respond to a quick email than have you worry! You should have received your staggered start letter. If you are registered and did not receive one, please email me as soon as possible. Remember to mark your calendar on August 20th for the Zach School-Wide Open House 3:00 pm-4:00 pm. Join us after for Kindergarten Orientation in the Flex Room 4:30 pm-5:30 pm. Families and students are welcome at the open house, but please only adults for orientation. This is an informative night for adults but not exciting for kids. Please understand that I can't wait to meet all the kids, but they need to stay home on this evening.
